Landline

Hi my parents cancelled their Sky account only to rejoin a few weeks later. I have got everything working again except their landline. I was assured that this would be the same as their old one on the old cooper landline not a WiFi dependent phone. The phone will not connect. I have tried in the wall and in the back of the router. They are very elderly and need their landline. I'm getting nowhere with customer service. Can anyone help please?

@Katy3 when was their new service with Sky activated?  Normally a new service is provisioned with Internet calls, where the phone plugs into the back of a broadband Hub.

 

Does the Hub have an LED on the front panel labelled 'Voice'? Or is it a white Hub?

 

Were your parents sent a replacement broadband Hub?

It's a black hub. I have tried plugging the existing DECT phone into the hub but still no dial tone

I am having the same trouble.  Phone message from sky and a few wires posted to me.  Followed instructions and now mainline does not work.  We also need our home phone......
