We've had problems from Friday last and decided to purchase a new cordless phone on a presumption that the old units were the problem. New handset's been charged and had shows "Please check line cord". No connection still. Voice light on hub is off, I've done a reset as instructed, checked connections and broadband is fine but, voice light is still off and the issue remains unresolved. Could somebody please help?

If both are 'yes' then there's most likely a fault which needs to be reported to Sky. If you wish, we can ask Sky's messaging team to contact you here via a private online chat, so that you can do so.

Many thanks for the revert, Mark. I have contacted Sky on my mobile who confirmed that it's an external problem. They have now called for an OpenReach Engineer to look into the matter and resolve. Will update if and when service is back. On the bright side, broadband connection is fine even when the talking side is a bit "poorly" at the moment.
