I have an old GPO copper junction box on an upstairs window cill that is going moldy.
It seems that the cable from the street pole comes in a roof line along the underside of the roof soffit panels, down the front wall, in through the corner of the window into the junction box, then back out through the same hole, down the wall and into the master socket in the lounge directly beneath it.
Ideally I would like it completly removed and one of those external grey box fitted to the side of the house and the cable run at ground level or at least under the downstairs windows to the existing master socket of if possible moved the master socket to the side of the huse so no cables on the front face.
I've tried to get through to sky to see how to go about this but can't get past the virtual helper online or past the telephone AI system which keeps hanging up on me rather than helping me.
Can someone please tell me the correct wording for this issue so I can naviagte the system to get an answer and maybe the works done.

You'd be booking a 'master socket relocation', and will need to persist with the automated answering system: apparently saying something like 'technical' or just staying silent should eventually reach a human. I believe the feed for a non-fault-related relocation is £65
Perhaps worth noting that the 'external grey box' you describe sounds more like an fibre-optic CSP (Customer Service Point) rather than a copper line component.
