Landline not working

  • I had sky full fibre installed last week and the engineer did not test the phone line and I didn't think to ask. He fitted the hub into the spare bedroom. I now realize my phone line isn't working and the answer seems to be to plug the phone into the hub which is nowhere near my lounge. Is there a way around this?

Yes, your phone must be plugged into your broadband Hub. The simplest solution would be to invest in a cordless DECT phone. A base station plugs into your Hub, and you can place the cordless handset wherever is most convenient.

Thanks Mark, it would have been good if the engineer had explained that after placing the hub in our spare bedroom 😡
