Landline not working

My landline is not working. I get a lot of crackling when I dial a number. The number dials then nothing, no ring tone from the number dialled. I tried the virtual assistant, which was no help what-so-ever. I have done all the usual checks, cables, connections. Thre seems to be a lot of this same problem, is it ever going to be fixed, I need my phone to contact hospital and doctors. Please help SKY, this is a very needed service. Thank you.

There's no general issue with Sky landlines, any more than with other providers. But with millions of subscribers, it's inevitable that there will be a small number with issues at any one time.

 

First, try the connection yest here, even if your broadband is working ok. Let us know the result.

Exactly the same here! I'm getting a new hub sent out...they think this might the problem? Hmmmmm

OK, I've alerted Sky and a Community adviser may be able to help you via private, online messaging later tomorrow. Look out for a blue/red chat 'bubble' towards the bottom of the page. Replies from Sky may not be instant, so check back from time to time for updates. Once the chat is activated it remains open for 48 hours, after which it will automatically close..

Thank you for the help. I have an engineer coming out on Friday to hopefully fix the problem.
