I switched broadband and telephone line from bt to sky on Friday it went live , however my
landline still not working. Message I get when we call it is : temporarily unavailable "
I was not told it will take that long . It was just supposed to be delayed for that day only. Very unhappy as family need land line For emergency as they don't have mobile.

I have done all this the hub was plugged in and the telephone line . Everything is done correctly I even checked with sky on telephone and they said it looks like I've done everything I needed to. And to wait for line to transfer over. But normally it shouldn't take that long
i think and am worried the line will not transfer over with my old number

There's a known issue with the white Hub affecting some customers which results in delayed activation of the Talk service. As you've already reported it to Sky, it's a matter of waiting for it to complete. Recent posts here suggest it can take a couple of weeks.

Yes matter of waiting but that's way too long to be without a telephone

I sympathise with you, I have been waiting pushing 5 weeks and I still have no landline

4 weeks with the same problem. Sky just ping you from pillar to post. Very annoying for what is their failure on their part to port the phoneline over correctly.

I totally agree with you, it's unacceptable , well over 3 months without a landline, I said it before and I'll say it again, you don't buy a tv and only half the screen works, same old waffle we are working on it in the background, I have never experienced such a service from anybody
