Fault on line - URGENT

Reported on Sunday that my landline wasn't working using the online tool and an engineer has been booked, although no date. The internet is now also not working and I need a working connection urgently as my pacemaker is connected to the phoneline for remote monitoring.

Openreach's usual initial response time is 2 to 5 working days. You might wish to ask Sky if they can request a more urgent response.

If you have the means, it may be quickest to call, or otherwise we can ask their messaging team to contact you via so that you can ask them via a private online chat.

Re: Fault on line - URGENT

I tried the online assistant but it was useless and cannot find a contact number anywhere. How do I get someone to contact me?

You can find the number to call, via the 'need more help' link towards the bottom of the page here: https://www.sky.com/help/home

The messaging team is not the online assistant bot. You chat online with a human adviser. Happy,to arrange it, if that's what you want to do.

OK, I've alerted Sky and a Community adviser may be able to help you via private, online messaging later today. Look out for a blue/red chat 'bubble' towards the bottom of the page. Replies from Sky may not be instant, so check back from time to time for updates. Once the chat is activated it remains open for 48 hours, after which it will automatically close..

For the detail of how it works see this guide: https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147
