Landline Setup

since sky fibre  setup my landline doesn't work even though they gave me a new number. should any telephone work as mine are quite old.

Firstly, is your phone plugged into your broadband Hub? If you have a black Hub, is the ' Voice' light on the front panel illuminated? Amber or green? When was your fibre service activated?

it's a white hub, it was set up 29th May. where do i connect the phone to. the new number rings when we call from a mobile.

@Stanny01 there's a standard phone socket at the back of your Hub. That's where your phone needs to be plugged in.

 

It won't work of it's plugged into the wall socket.
