New customer - have questions but can't find a phone number....
Hi, hope you can help, I'm trying to set up a new order but had some questions and can't find a phone number - the suggested one doesn't work because I'm not a current customer and don't have a recognised phone number...
Hopefully someone here can help please..:
1 - I'm currently with BT and pay for a wifi extender because the signal does not reach the front of the house (kids and xbox's). I can't figure out how I go about getting an extender, and is there an extra cost?
2 - I believe I'd need to take out an extra package to let the kids use sky go on their xbox consoles, I heard about Sky Go Extra but all I've seen is the multiroom option which seems quite expensive..... Is there a way they can watch sky on their consoles, but ideally either just sports or with some parental controls so they can't get to the movies etc?
3 - It says 'price may change' on the tv options, I guess that just means in April?
4 - It gave me the option of having the line connected next week, I assume it takes longer to switch from BT but I'd stay connected to BT until Sky broadband is ready?
Thanks!
Chris

To answer your questions, if you had Broadband Max to your account then Sky will supply a maximum of 3 pids that might help with this:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max..
Sky Go Extra is required before being able to use the Sky Go app on a console, it used to be possible to pay £5 per month for it, I'm not sure if this is still an option.
Prices rise in April each year so even if you are looked in a contract it is the price before your diwscount that would increase.
Usually it can take up to 14 days and yes your BT line should work until it is chanegover to Sky, there might be some downtime when this happens.

The option to claim boosters comes from paying for the WiFi Max subscription supplement.

That's Sky Television, not Sky Broadband. Go Extra does have an additional cost on top of the television subscription, as does Multiscreen/Whole Home, and there's no option for just Sports.

Both Aprils within the initial 24 month minimum contract term.

Depending on the installation method it might well be the day of the contract switch too.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
