My elderly mother (84) has lost her number not by choice when moving from Vodafone to Sky.
Family home House Phone Number (in family for 40+ years) relied upon for all medical, social, family and friends network.
New service activated 16th September, phoneline only working 3rd Oct but with wrong number now.
I have been around Sky, Vodafone, BT, Openreach, all multiple times and nobody seems to be able to resolve, just point me to somewhere else.
Latest response from Vodafone

Happy to move back to anyone or wherever at whatever cost to get this back for her
All help appreciated

Providing you (or your mother) ticked the box online saying she wanted to keep her number, Sky should automatically have requested it. They do say that occasionally the number can't be ported but in such cases your mother would have been advised: https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147

Thanks for the response
Box was ticked to keep the number.
Do I have any visibility or tracking if this has been escalated?
