Hi my land line with sky is not working has been down since Friday, I have checked connections and plugs when I pick phone up to use it it just crackles can you please help as I am elderly and rely on this

A couple of questions: has your landline with Sky been working OK up to now? Does your phone plug into a wall socket?

It worked until Friday and yes it does plug into a white socket I have checked all sockets plugging all in and out and phone dead, I can still press answer phone buttons and that works and phone says it is charged
