I just want it disconnecting as I no longer need/use it anymore and therefore stop paying for it.
Course of action anyone as not getting any help from SKY

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSky Talk landline is grouped with your Broadband deal. If you don't use an actual landline phone any more call Sky and ensure your Sky Talk tariff is on Sky Pay As You Talk. That way you'll only be charged for calls you make.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@WHITESNAKE06 just to add to @Daniel0210's post, the cost of your line (the line rental) is rolled into your broadband contract, as you can't have broadband without a landline.
So even if you could cancel just your landline, there would be no saving. Providing you're on the Pay as you Talk package, and don't use the phone, you're not charged anything extra.

Generally speaking, the requirement for terrestrial broadband to have a data bearer circuit means online advice to 'save money by cancelling an unused landline' is misleading: the 'line' is very much in use carrying the internet connection.
The key is to make sure you aren't paying for an unused voice call allowance, which would typically be an optional add-on.
