Issue with landline

Broadband is working fine but have an issue with my sky telephone line.

I get a dial tone but as I dial out the line goes dead. When I try to call the landline number I'm told the line is engaged but no one is actually on the telephone. All handsets in the house have been checked and are not in use.

Called sky from my mobile and waited 30 minutes for someone to help. Whilst speaking to the advisor the line disconnected and they didn't bother to call me back. Really disappointing service from Sky!

@Kam15   I've escalated your post via the community chat. This link explains how it works https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147#M1014

Keep an eye out for an invite or blue chat bubble.

When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.

Be reassured the email & message is from Sky and your details are safe and secure.
If you are using Safari please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the blue bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome etc.

I would also recommend that if not already on, that you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: Issue with landline

After speaking with Kam15 we accessed the account but before we could go through any troubleshooting steps the landline issue seemed to have resolved itself.

We ran a line test to make sure and no faults/issues were detected.

It was a pleasure speaking with you Kam15 and thanks again.

Thanks
Tom
