So, I should not have any calls billed to my Sky account ?

That's right.. Calls are only billed by Sky if you use Sky Talk, via the Hub's phone socket.

That depends on what Sky Talk package you have as the default one is pay as you talk as having internet calls doesn't mean the calls themselves are free. If your package includes free calls at certain times then there will be no charge.

Re: Internet Phone - are calls free ?

I had a separate broadband line installed by my work using this (work) internet phone (calls are free). They suggested I can get rid of that (and keep the cost saving myself) and use my own Sky broadband simply by connecting the phone to the ethernet connection at the back of my Sky router (but I will only agree if the calls are still free).

That's not a Sky issue. The charges for any 3rd party VOIP solution you use are determined by the provider, and are nothing to do with Sky.

I'm not using the phone connection (red) - rather the ethernet connection (green)
