I'm upgrading to superfast and as part of the sky process I've been told to contact my current phone supplier to cancel my deal and that sky won't be able to use my current landline number.
My current supplier IS sky and I'd like to keep the same number but the auto help functions don't provide any relevant assistance.
Any ideas?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Brengp if you're moving from basic ADSL broadband to Superfast, I imagine your line will be provisioned with Sky Internet calling (Sky VOIP) where your phone handset plugs into the broadband Hub, rather than the wall socket.
At the moment, I believe it's as a consequence of this that you lose your existing number, whether it's provided by Sky or another service provider.
Digital phone calling I being rolled out by Openreach across all providers in advance of the switch off of the analogue phone service.
