Thanks for that.  I am patient and I have been waiting.  Visiting and signing up to Sky Community was the only way that I could use to find a way to report the fault in the first instance.  Since my last post I have received a response from Openreach via FB.  Their escalations team is now handling the issue so I'm keeping everything crossed.  Thanks to everyone who has tried to assist with getting my landline back.

Not quite sure what you mean by a different way, whatever you did do you want us to esclalate the messaging team again for you so this time you can do it in the normal way ?

I had to confirm the name of the account holder, the full address including postcode, and the last two digits of the bank account number I pay Sky with.  They also have my email address.

 

I believe the issue has already been escalated as I assume that’s where the Executive Response Group Customer Priority comes in – but they are not keeping me up to date.

OK, so they said you failed this so what details did you add incorrectly because if you know what we did wrong we could try again for you ?

No, sorry, I should have been clearer.  They didn't say I failed this, this was what was used as an 'alternative method'.   But they must have been happy with my responses as this was back on the 12th and I have  corresponded with them since then.  They certainly haven't said they weren't happy with my answers.
