How do I change to internet calls

My landline has got worse over the last few weeks voices becoming more distorted and digitalised

I know that we are all gonna end up using internet calling in the future (2025 I believe) how do I swap now

I work from home and need a clear line that I can actually hear callers

To do so before your telco migrates you to their own IP service would require you or your employer to source a 'real' VOIP subscription and an appropriate IP telephone set (or ATA) to plug into an ethernet port on your Sky Hub.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

@Maxsmum19 currently Sky provision their phone service with internet calls when a new customer switches from another provider, or when an existing customer upgrades their broadband service. It's not currently done at the request of a customer. The alternative is to sort out the problem which is currently affecting the clarity of your phone service..

Re: How do I change to internet calls

Thanks for this information it is not my personal line that is the problem it's something on a grander scale I'm afraid

I work for a company where they put calls through to me and having done their research they have been informed that the problem seems to be with bt and sky

since I wrote this question I have received an email from sky giving me the chance to leave sky talk for free

I actually haven't logged an official complaint with them so I think this letter may be generic
