Fault on landline

My land line keeps going to engaged signal when I try to ring our or someone calls and then I answer it. It is OK for about 5 seconds and then goes to engaged. Callers cannot hear me. I have 2 tried different handset and plugged phone directly into socket (without filter).  Still the same issue

I went through help pages to see if I could resolve the issue but can't and am told to call Sky - I can't because the pohne line does not work and I do not have mobile phone signel here. I need live chat, What's App or email address for help

Has ypur landline with Sky worked OK up to now? First try the simple connection test here even if your broadband is working ok. Let us know the result.

 

If it doesn't detect a fault we can ask Sky's messaging team to contact you here so that you can report it via a private online chat, if you wish.

it was working and yes ive done the sky test thanks
