Ex Directory not activated when I changed over to SKY

I changed my package from EE to SKY found out a few days ago that my number shows up when I ring people. Not what I wanted

If you want your number hidden on all calls you make then you will need to call Sky to ask them to activate it for you. 150 is the free number to use to speak to them on.

'Ex-directory' is the number not being listed publicly against your name: printed, if paper telephone directories still existed.  That's not the same as 'withholding your number' (blocking outbound Caller ID) when dialling.

@Niecey contact Sky to request your number is permanently witheld - it's not automatic and you have to request it.

 

In the meantime, dial 141 before the number you want to call and your number will be witheld in the same way. You would have to remember to dial 141 before each call you make, until the permanent witholding is arranged.
