I have Sky broadband and Sky TV. I know what my landline number is, but I do not presently have a phone plugged into it. I also have a mobile phone with EE. All of these things work perfectly.
1. Do I "get" Sky Talk automatically? As in, if I'm paying for broadband, I can just plug a phone in, and I have a landline?
2. What is the voice quality like compared with, say, a regular telephone or mobile? One of the reasons I prefer mobile phones is because the quality is much higher than the highly distorted voice telephony that I'm used to.

You have Pay as You Go for calls as Standard, each call you make from your Talk Landline is chargeable except calls to Sky on 150

Re: Do I have Sky Talk automatically?
@richardcavell you should find call quality to be better as the sound of your voice is transported across the Internet digitally in the same way as other data, with greater bandwidth and less interference than you would get with an analogue phone call.

Yes, but if you haven't chosen to add a Sky Talk 'Extra' option it's really expensive to actually make outbound calls.
Roughly speaking an hour of calls in a month costs more than the 'Anytime Extra' add-on.
