Changing landline numbers

Hi

I have two separate phone landlines at home, one with Sky which I use for my Sky Q connection, and another with BT.

I no longer need two lines so I want to change the BT line to Sky for my internet and home phone, but keeping the existing number, and discontinuing the current Sky line.

How do I go about arranging this?

Give them a call, but I don't think Sky will have a way of doing this.  They can generally only transfer phone numbers on a house move.
