Haven't been able to use my home phone for some time. Assumed it was our old, dated home phones.
just bought a new home phone but still unable to make or receive calls.
Tried plugging into the main socket, through a micro filter and in the back of the router and there is no change!
No dialling tone and when the number is called it comes up as user busy???
Any suggestions on how to sort the situation??

Try the troubleshooting in the below link. If an external fault is found you may be able to book an engineer online, otherwise you'll need to contact Sky to report it. They will pass it to Openreach for investigation. Openreach has a target fix time of two working days.
