Since yesterday there has been a permanent voice message beeping on the phone line but pressing 1571 does nothing. Cannot make outgoing calls and invoking calls illegible voices

Can you clarify "a permanent voice message beeping"? Is there a dial tone? Can you receive calls? Are you new to Sky's broadband and phone services? Or has your Sky landline service worked ok up to now?

The sound is that of having received a voice message with what sounds like a dial tone behind that. Tried picking up message but cannot and noise/beeping just continues regardless of what you do. Cannot make outgoing calls. Received an incoming call today but the voice was completely distorted and indecipherable

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Jet2 first try the connection test here, even if your broadband is ok - it may give you the opportunity to book an engineer there and then if it detects a fault. Let us know the outcome.
