@will28You are unable to have one without the other. If you are moving to another provider they will take your talk package also.

You used to be able to have your talk and broadband with separate companies, but that when it was older ADSL. Everyone that had this was told to change and go with either company for broadband & talk.  So the scenario that you are trying to see if is available is not possible.

If someone has helped give them Like.

Ok thanks. I'm potentially getting a second line put in from hyperoptic (full fibre) but you can only have digital voice with them (phone plugged into router).

@will28 bear in mind Openreach intend to,switch off the analogue phone service completely in the near future - the last scheduled, switch off date I heard was 2025, but I'm not sure whether that's still the current deadline. New Sky phone subscribers have had a digital service via their broadband Hub for several years.

PSTN services have already reached 'stop sell' in around 400 exchange areas, and nationally end of sales of new service is due in September this year.

If your exchange is currently in 'stop-sell' then no telco could order a PSTN (analogue voice) service for you.  In addition many ISPs (including Sky) will only order SOGEA even where PSTN is still available.
