Re: part rec technical fault -7(33) shows on every recording on my SKY+ and breaks up on re watchin
this hasn't worked,
If I am watching live while also recoring the same programme there arent any signal issues & it's perfect & interuption free however if i watch that same proramme back it continually breaks up.
downloaded recordings playback perfectly & so does recorded radio programmes, but every thing else is part recorded technical fault that consistantly breaks every few minutes showing Part rec; technical fault - 7 (33) interuptred please back up to resume recording

Technical fault 7 generally indicates a problem with your hard disk. You could try a full System Reset (same menu as a Planner Rebuild) which might resolve it, possibly only temporarily. You'll lose all your recordings by doing it, I'm afraid. Failing that, it would be best to speak to Sky to see what alternative upgrade options you have.
