Turned sky on but not registering with my tv and up until now has been working

Is this a Sky box? Or YouView?

@Su27  That is a  Youview Box error message and as such is not a Sky+ or Sky related issue, you need to reach out to your Youview Box provider, not Sky.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
