Which package has Sky Sports Racing for satellite HD box please?
Hi Everyone,
I hope that someone can point me in the right direction. I have an old Sky + HD box and currently receive the RacingTV Channel on it (424) but I want to also get Sky Sports Racing on it (415). Which Sky package do I need to be on to receive it via satellite only, not broadband? Many thanks to anyone that is kind enough to help.😁

If you are a Sky+ box customer and you have the Sky Signtaure package on your account then you should have access to the channels as this is the package you need.

@Happy16 If you don't currently a relevant active subscription that gives access to the channel you won't be able to subscribe as sky no longer sells subscriptions on sky hd boxes

Re: Which package has Sky Sports Racing for satellite HD box please?
Hi, Many thanks for your reply.
I don't have a current subscription with Sky but was previously with them for 20 years or more. I had a tree problem that knocked out the signal for nine months until the Local Council attended to it and as my contract with them was out, I allowed the contract to lapse. For further clarification in view of what you have said, does this mean I will no longer be able to subscribe to the package I would need because they no longer deal with the satellite only aspect of their business?

Sky do still have a satellite service called Sky Q which they do still support. You need to call them to request it though. An engineer will attend your property, check your dish and cabling, and install new ones along with the Q box.
Alternatively, if you have sufficient broadband speed available, you may wish to look at Sky Stream, a small box which attaches to your TV and streams all channels via your broadband connection.
Another alternative, if it's just Sky Sports you're interested in, is the NOW TV app which allows you to subscribe to Sky Sports only, without any base package cost, which both Sky Q and Sky Stream require.
