Renewal offer
I've been offered a new 24 month contract which doesn't meet my requirements and if it can't be improved as loyal 13 year customer I will look elsewhere for better value

Sounds sensible 🙂
BTW, this forum is primarily customer-to-customer help, you're not talking to Sky support

@Bailey4
’Significant’ discounts seem harder to come by these days. If you decide it’s no longer value for money and you’re thinking of changing providers remember that at the end of their minimum term you'll be in the same position with that company at which point you'll be able to return to Sky and benefit from the new customer discounts available at that particular time.

Re: Renewal offer
as @Annie+UK has said, thsi is a customer forum. You may get a better deal on Sky stream as opposed to Sky + which is a legacy product.

I often find that the "automatic" contract offer isn't very good. It's likely you'll be offered something better when you ring up (which you'd need to do to cancel anyway).
Though, as mentioned above, it's not likely to be as good as you've had in the past.
