@Richard1101 it's unlikely that Sky will see your post. Even if they did, they wouldn't have a clue what you're referring to without a bit of detail. Just post a picture. Or tell us which device. WIthout one or other we can't possibly help..

Having re-read the thread you've been asked in 9 separate posts what the device is or to post an image of it but we are still waiting. 

I'm struggling to understand what the problem is in telling us.

If there's a Sky logo showing on screen then there must already be a power plug in place.

 

The display not getting past that point would suggest an issue somewhere else.
