Hello, I do not seem to have stv channel.on my sky box, however some programs have been recorded from it. It keeps saying channel not available, why is this?

@Donnaml Where are you located? As stv is the Scottish version of itv and the region is set by postcode

if you are in Scotland try a box reboot

I'm in London it says on the site I should get it on channel 178 but I do not have this channel.

@Donnaml What website are you seeing this information on as from what I can see it's only supposed to broadcast in Scotland and it's not listed for me either on 178 in birmingham

@Annie+UK do you know if this channel should be available outside Scotland on sky?

@SKY1992bf Just checked to TV Guide on the Sky+ App (London Region) and there is no mention of STV so I guess it is only for Scotland customers unless you add it to other channels

I think I am correct in saying that you do not get access to the live channel outside of Scotland via the epg but STV conetnt does appear via On Demand for all UK customers.
