Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe most recent Sky+ boxes were manufactured in 2015/2016, but you can buy a used box cheaply from ebay etc as a replacement. Choose only a DRX890 or DRX895 model as they're the most recent.
The best way to upgrade is to give Sky a call. You should be offered a good deal - tell Sky you don't want to pay any more.
