Sky viewing card saying not inserted

Saying - please ensure the correct viewing card is inserted with the chip facing up

If you haven't already, try removing the Card, wiping it with a clean, dry cloth and reinserting it. If you're still seeing the same messsage, it's probably best to speak to Sky.

Nah !! Was new from sky , Had for years never touched the card or box . 

Do viewing cards need updating or replacing?????

Thanks for that, but there is no phone number there. Perhaps I should add that I am in

Ireland. 

 

I can't watch TV, but I've been notified that I've received a Discussion Badge, Reached Level 1, and Read 100 Discussion Articles.

Change the flag at the bottom right before selecting the link. It will be an 0818 number.

I was able to reach a tech chat agent, repeated all the same steps, and now it works.
