Sky remote not selecting

Hi I need help please my sky remote will turn on the tv but won't select anything I can't move left or right and it won't select

Is this a new remote or has it worked OK before?

It has worked before had it for 6months now and all of a sudden today both remotes on both tv's

I assume both TVs are connected to the same Sky+ box? Try turning off your Sky box at the plug for at least 4 minutes, then check the remotes again.
