Welcome to this Community of customers @Yatesy12

As we're only customers, same as you, it's something you'll need to speak directly with Sky about, I'm afraid.

hi @Yatesy12

SKy may be able to advise depending on what information they have regarding your communal system (i.e. they may have tried for another customer & been OK or otherwise failed)

With many it will depend on what the engineer's find when they attend

Many systems will work with an 'adapter' supplied by SKY but these need to be installed in the communal distribution syetem local cupboard  & this needs the permission from the building management and will only be able to be done if the signals from the existing system are good enough and there is room & power to fit the adpater. Sometimes the adpaters can be powered by being fed from PSU in your apartment

Some systems are modern enough and can be used without an adapter but, unfortunately some (if not many ) are not suitable

Have you tried asking your building management if other residents have SKY Q ?

You may, also, wish to read some notes I have made for people considering switching from SKY +/HD to SKY Q

SKY +/HD to SKY Q
