Have been with sky since it was first launched. Currently I have sky +HD. As well as phone and broadband. Have been looking at the new fibre broadbands in the area. My downloads have been 26 and uploads 4mbps. So had been thinking of changing from Sky. but unsure.
I don't need Sky Q as there's only one tv in the lounge (I'm one of those strange people that doesn't like a tv in bedrooms lol) Sky stream doesn't seem an option either as the broadband speeds offered by other fibre providers is a lot better. £92 a month seem a lot. I don't have any sports or movie channels, just sky signature, phone and broadband

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf you don't have a separate fibre optic cable to your home, your broadband speed from any other provider that uses the Openreach network (all except Virgin) will be much the same as you get from Sky.
If you're not currently 'in contract' with Sky, you'll probably be able to negotiate a better price with them.

Thank you. 3 different fibre providers had been installed in my road this year.

Sky Q is perfectly fine with only one television: the trick is to make sure that Sky don't sell you a Multiscreen subscription or charge an installation fee in its absence. There's no actual requirement to take a Mini box: it's just that Sky has always bundled one with the 'VIP Upgrade' in order to generate extra subscription income.
Glass/Stream works with any ISP: it's not restricted to Sky Broadband.
