Sky+ epg nothing beyond midnight

No epg beyond midnight, no series like possible, cannot record beyond the end of today, pretty useless really, I do not have wired Internet so no way to catch up either, tried all the reboot/press button things I've seen multiple times and I do mean multiple. Help please

Hi @annoyedofhampshir 


Try a Reset Settings in the Q box hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Only Carry out the first Reset (Reset Settings) as the other two will wipe all recordings.
After the Reset you will have to re pair your Bluetooth remote If you use one.
If you cannot switch the Q box on with the remote after the Reset press the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the box.
To re pair the remote press 1 & 3 together on the remote and follow onscreen instructions to re pair.

Make sure that you are pointing the remote at the Q box when you press 1 & 3 together.

Resetting the settings will also reset:

Audio visual settings, such as picture resolution and HDMI control
Settings changed within the hidden engineer menu, include LNB type. If on a communal dish you need to reset the LNB to SCR in the hidden menu. After changing the LNB type you need to reboot the Q box.

No EPG beyond midnight today

No epg beyond midnight, no series link possible, cannot record beyond the end of today as I can't see it to select, pretty useless really, I do not have wired Internet so no way to catch up either, tried all the reboot/press button things I've seen multiple times and I do mean multiple. Help please

That's indicative of an absence of a signal from the dish on one of your dish cables. Check by going to Services > Sett8ngs > Signal. The white part of all four bars should be at least half way across.

I don't know what that setting is, but it doesn't sound like the right one. If you have only a single cable from the dish you need to set Single Feed Mode on.

@annoyedofhampshir  Is thinking happening on all channels or certain ones 

 

if certain channels only which ones are affected

Odd. The only circumstances where I've come across this before are where there are two dish cables and no signal from the dish on one of them. I don't suppose the dish has been disturbed recently?
