@samuel15

You've posted on the Sky+ board.

I'm afraid Sky no longer support Sky+ and Sky+HD set ups. You'll need to employ a local satellite engineer at your own expense to check/repair/replace the dish/LNB if that's the problem or perhaps the cables are getting water ingress.

If you have Sky Protect insurance through Domestic and General Insurance you can call them but a recent post on here stated they wouldn't send an engineer - but they did offer the customer £65 towards arranging one themselves.

The alternative is contacting Sky to upgrade to Sky Q or change to Glass / Stream.

@samuel15  If you have Sky+HD, where you have posted, Sky no longer supports this system.  You would need tio employ the services of an independant satellite dish installer at your own cost.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@samuel15 if the LNB (the bit on the arm of the dish) is as old as the dish, it's almost certainly well past its best and probably what needs replacing. The dish is most likely ok.
