Sky box not come on and remote control not working

Remote stopped working but red light is coming on switch off box but now won't come on ?

@W12abl if the red LED in the end of the remote is lighting up when you press a button, the likelihood is that your remote is working ok.

What happens to the power light on the front panel of your Sky box, when you use the remote to turn it on? Does it change from red (or amber) to green? Or does nothing happen?
