Our Sky box doesn't record /hold programs anymore

Can you play existing recordings back? What happens when you try to record? Does the programme you select to record show as Failed in your Planner? If so, highlight a Failed recording, and press the i button on your remote. The failure reason will be shown on screen - what does it show?
