Sky and the rain

With all the billions that Sky rake in every year you would think that they might have finally found a solution to satellite TV not being affected. I think a call to Virgin might be necessary soon, at least cable TV isn't affected by a little shower.

All the money in the world will not fix the problem!

Microwaves are affected by the weather, you cannot change physics 🙄

Also satellite TV is coming to the end of service in the UK so swapping to streaming will fix the weather issue 🙂

They have that is why they launched Sky Glass and Stream where no dish is required.

it is worth noting that a properly aligned dish will not be affected by light rain - only very thick cloud (typically very heavy rain/thundery conditions) should cause loss of signal

I agree. Has to be heavy snow or thunderstorms to affect my satellite signal.

Yep, I only had signal issues a few times per year, in torrential rain or heavy snow, when I as using a dish.
