Sky Sports+ availability

Why did the notification of subscription price changes in April 2024 tell me that 8,000 extra hours of live football, tennis and rugby were all included within my subscription when I cannot access the red button on channel 412 because I don't have Q?

Urgent Notice for Sky+ users: as of 29th October 2024 you will no longer be able to pair your viewing card to a Sky+/Sky+HD box that the card is not already paired to, so if your Sky box breaks you cannot replace it and you'll need to move to either Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky Stream to access Sky content

You need to contact Sky and give them 31 days notice to cancel it, so you can either call or use the messaging service to do this.

Select "No, I still need help" at the bottom of the page on the above link.

You can, of course, watch the App on a tablet or mobile.

Sky probably forgot to add the info that their many Sky+ HD customers were not included🤔

On the other hand sky may have felt there was no need to mention it as sky plus is an end of life product which is no longer sold or marketed

the advertising clearly and correctly only identified the products the service was available on including the mobile app which sky plus customers can use to access the content if they wish with the appropriate subscription

At their own choice with the option to upgrade if they wish

no product lasts forever and the hardware simply cannot handle the way Sky now transmits red button content

Explicitly informing customers might have results in transfers from Sky+ HD to Sky Q ... rather than disappoint as in this case😉
