Sky's HD subscription so that you get Sky Witness, Sky Atlantic etc in HD

If you call you get an automated option to upgrade to SkyQ, if you select anything else to understand options, call goes to general enquiries & end up with overseas call centre... basically can keep existing Sky+ box as long as working. They won't change TV package until contract date so no benefit of having SkyQ such as Netflix. Don't know if any more flexibility if you manage to get transferred to UK support team. Only one mini box included even if diamond VIP customer - extra mini boxes cost £50

It's completely up to you, of course, but bear in mind the very latest Sky+ boxes are at least 8 years old, and hard disks don't last forever. There's also no longer any engineer service for Sky+ in the event of a fault unless you have Sky Protect.
