Sky+ HD remote code for JVC TV

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help.

I have just bought a JVC LT-43CA890 TV and cannot get my (version 9f) sky remote to accept the recommended code of 3460.

I have now tried more than 10 different codes without success (including 0053 as in my Sky book). So cannot turn TV on/off with my Sky remote.

Can you clarify what you mean?

When I input the code 3460 which the TV instruction  book gave me, my sky remote does not flash twice (only once) and it does not operate the TV

Ok, that probably means that your remote version doesn't have thay code stored on its database chip.

You could try the codes listed in Sky's code finder here: https://www.sky.com/help/program-your-remote

Otherwise, if your tv is a late model, you might need the latest version 10 remote.

Kept trying the suggested code 0053 for JVC TV, then after a search I found this post saying use 3460, fantastic it worked, many thanks.

What if your SkyQ box wont accept codes .. ie the select and Red does nothing?

If i search for my TV model I have 25 options, none of them work?

If you can't find a code using the Select/Red method, there's no suitable code for your TV on the chip inside the remote.
