Sky HD box return?

Hi, 

I cancelled my subscription today as I'm emigrating next month. The advisor told me I would have to return my HD box and that they will send out packaging for this.

As I may return in a year or two I thought I may keep it as I thought only SkyQ has to be returned (on the returns section of website it only mentions SkyQ)

Is this right? I don't want to leave the country and take it with me and then be charged as I haven't returrned it.

You do not need to return old SKY HD boxes - only SKY Q boxes need returning

You own any SKy + / HD boxes and can do what you want with them

Thanks for that, it's what I thought. Just seems strange that they are telling peple they have to be sent back and that they will send out packaging to do it!
