@Doctor9 try turning both your Sky+ box and your Sky Hub off at the plug. Wait 30 seconds before restarting your Sky Hub and another 4 minutes before restarting your Sky+ box. Then see if it connects.

@Sham+sham if there are no lights on your Sky+ box, first check the fuse in the plug. If it's OK and there are still no lights when you plug back in, it looks like the box has failed and will need replacing.
As I posted previously, the box has failed. There are no new Sky+ boxes as they were last manufactured in 2015/2016. You can buy a used replacement from eBay quite cheaply. Look only for DRX890 and DRX895 models.
