SD to HD boxes change

hi guys I obviously dont want to do this but because of not knowing exactly what would happen about my boxes at the end of october I thought I would update them to HD boxes so they dont get cancelled but I was wondering if its been done right because my bill says

Changes to your Sky portfolio

The following subscriptions have been cancelled:

  • Sky+ on 05/09
  • Sky+ on 05/09
  • Sky+ on 29/08

The following subscriptions have been added, you will be able to access content immediately or from the start of your next subscription period:

  • Sky+HDw (A Grade) on 29/08
  • Sky+HDw (A Grade) on 05/09
  • Sky HD Remote Control (Installed) on 05/09
  • Sky HD Remote Control (Installed) on 05/09
  • Sky+HDw (A Grade) on 05/09
  • Sky HD Remote Control (Installed) on 29/08
  • Sky HD Remote Control (Installed) on 05/09
  • Sky+HDw (A Grade) on 05/09

Any changes to your payments will be reflected on your next bill.

but if I have changed all 4 boxes shouldnt it was sky+ removed 4 times not 3? doesnt this mean I also mean I have to change my signature on the forum because obviously I dont want to but if I have to I will

Re: SD to HD boxes change

@Exiled-in-HH yes the bills are ok I am concerned about the box issue basically I cant afford for any of my mutiroom boxes to get removed at the end of october because obviously sky would never put the back on again I appreciate the help members on here are giving me but call centers advises are telling me different things I am just trying to cover my bases so nothing will get removed I personally think the whole thing is a complete mess doesnt help with the vast majority in the call center not knowing about sky+ and being sky Q driven they even seem to call mutiroom boxes mini boxes which obviously isnt correct would be a lot easier if I could see what call centers see when they look at my account it would help me explaining things but here we are and thats great about the signature I will keep it how it is then

Re: SD to HD boxes change

It is unlikely Sky CS agents get any training about Sky+ anymore as it is just a legacy device🤔

If your future bills are as expected showing the correct subscriptions is your best guidance on whether you boxes will continue to function😧

Re: SD to HD boxes change

@Exiled-in-HH I would agree with you apart from the part on the sky website talking about it says

"We’re changing how we deliver our TV services. To keep your Sky TV services you'll need to upgrade to a HD compatible box before your payment due date in October."

and further down the same site

"If you don't contact us or upgrade, your Sky TV will be cancelled and you'll lose access to these services on your payment due date in October."

so that suggests to me its only in october the future bills would tell you whats going on after october

Re: SD to HD boxes change

@Exiled-in-HH yes sorry what I meant was as it stands now members on here say different but if we go with what CS are telling me for the moment the 3 mutiroom boxes are showing but it wouldnt be untill my december bill they would show cancelled if I didnt change my boxes because they dont know what I would do in the meantime about my boxes its only by the end of october they would be cancelled if I didnt do anything

Re: SD to HD boxes change

@Exiled-in-HH whether or not changing all 4 boxes to HD should have 4 sky+ been removed not just 3

Re: SD to HD boxes change

The  3 multiscreens/Sky+ were cancelled and applied to three of the replacements Sky+ HD boxes the fourth sky+ HD was applied to the uncancelled full subscription ... If the full subscription was cancelled it wouldn't be possible to uncancel🤔
