Q or stream

We currently have 2 sky HD+ boxes which are upstairs in a cupboard & we operate with a "magic eye". They are now not working & are old so we need to review our sky package. Can we have Q?

@Lynn126

Yes, you can upgrade to Sky Q but only by calling Sky.

I will cc in one of the other Superusers who has compiled a very helpful guide for those thinking of transitioning from Plus to Q which may provide some insight into something you hadn't considered...

@Lynn126  Sky Q is still available but you would have to call sky to discuss option and to order

hi @Lynn126

SKY Q is still available but not online, so you would need to call

SKy Q is quite different in several ways to SKY HD & SKY Stream even more so, Stream needing a very good internet connection

You may, also, wish to read some notes I have made for people considering switching from SKY +/HD to SKY Q

SKY +/HD to SKY Q  (edit:  as mentioned by @Daniel0210  whuilst I was typing)

@Lynn126 note that neither Sky Q or Stream has  magic eye capability or RF outputs if the latter is what you're using to convey picture and sound to your TVs. You may be able to replace the magic eye functionality to control the box via Q's or Stream's Bluetooth remotes. but you'll need an alternative solution for sound and picture.
