PAIRING CARD TO REFURBISHED HD+ BOX

EXISTING LONG TIME CUSTOMER WITH ACCOUNT AND VIEW CARD. REPLACED HD+ BOX FOLLOWING DRIVE FAILURE.

WISH TO SETUP NEW REFURBISHED BOX,

HAVE ALL THE NUMBERS ETC, BUT CONTINUALLY MESSAGED "CARD NEEDS PAIRING".

I'VE CARRIED OUT ALL THE MOVES INCLUDING PHONEING THE ROBOT AT CUSTOMER SERVICES.

NO SUCCESS!!!

THEY TEXT TO SAY CALL THE FORUM.

OVER TO YOU

TIA

It's no longer possible to pair a replacement Sky+ box with your Viewing Card,  I'm afraid.

@IAIN21

That is correct as nobody will be able to pair a viewing card to them anymore.

They were up until the end of October when Sky changed their long-established policy.  The eBay vendors are probably unaware of this.

Looks like I've lost the chance to sell my 1TB DRX895 now, which has been sitting idle for 5+years....

My own fault for not getting on with it.
