Sky+ stopped working

Sky+ was working, it was accruing everything fine, but when I went to watch a recording it didn't work. I rang sky they told me to take my card out put it back in again and now Sky+ isn't working at all.

That should say that sky + has been working and recording everything. But when I went to watch a recording last night it wouldn't work. I rang sky today who told me to switch everything off, take my viewing card out, wait five minutes, put the viewing card back in and switch everything on. However, now nothing works at all can't even get into sky, let alone the recordings

Is the an error message on screen? 

 

Does the power LED on the front panel change from red or amber to green when you press the on/off button on your remote?

 

Is your tv tuned to the correct HDMI socket?
