Our tv is saying we need to insert viewing card and it hasn't been removed. We can't get any channels or recordings even normal TV

Has sky sent you a new card? if so use it

Have you ordered Sky Q or Sky Glass/Stream and cancelled the order? If so you'll need a new card sent to you

If none of the above then, Try performing a New Install
